2.2 Client Data (Lead Providers)

  • Full name, email address, phone number, city/location, and project requirement details submitted via our forms
  • Files or attachments describing the project (if uploaded)
  • This information may be verified for accuracy before publishing as a lead

 

2.3 Payment Data

  • All payments are processed through Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant
  • We do not store credit/debit card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or other sensitive credentials

 

2.4 Technical & Log Data

  • IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on the platform
  • Cookies and session data to maintain login state and improve user experience

 

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Verifying user identity and preventing unauthorized access (OTP verification)
  • Allowing clients to submit project requirements and connect with freelancers/agencies
  • Allowing freelancers/agencies to purchase leads using credits and contact clients
  • Processing payments and maintaining transaction records for legal and accounting purposes
  • Sending important updates, confirmations, and customer support responses
  • Preventing fraud, ensuring security, and complying with applicable laws

 

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contractual Necessity: To deliver the services you request (account creation, lead purchase, project submission)
  • Consent: When clients voluntarily submit project details and agree to share their contact information with freelancers

  • With registered freelancers/agencies when a client’s lead is purchased

6. Client Data Handling and Consent

By submitting your project requirement, you explicitly consent to:

  • Uptra storing and verifying your contact information and project details
  • Sharing your verified contact details (phone, email, project brief) with freelancers/agencies who purchase the lead
  • Receiving outreach from those freelancers/agencies

You may request deletion or stop further sharing of your data at any time by emailing admin@uptra.co.in. If your lead has already been sold, we will stop future sharing but cannot retract information already
shared with buyers.

 

7. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active or until you request deletion
  • Client leads: Stored until sold or until you request deletion
  • Payment and transaction data: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
  • OTP logs: Deleted immediately after successful verification

 

8. Security Measures

We use SSL encryption, secure servers, firewalls, and restricted internal access to safeguard your data. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no online system can be 100% secure.

You have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your data
